hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Well, before I tell you about this book. I have to say that this book surprised me. I wasn't sure what it would be like even thought that cover gave it away some.
Nora Grey is in tenth grade and has not interest what so ever in boys. Vee is her bestfriend and they do about everything together. But, when he shows up in her biology class, Nora doesn't know what to make of him. His name is Patch and there is something different about him.
What Nora doesn't realize is that someone is trying to kill her. She has one run in with who it is, when she hits him with her friends car. But, he just gets up and leaves. Nora ends up back at her friends Vee's house.
One day at school she meets Elliot. He seems nice tell certain things don't quite make any sense to her. At first she starts to think that Patch is trying to hurt her. But, he keeps telling her that its not him. Elliot's friend Jules hardly spends time with them. They have ment a few times at a restraunt for dinner and Patch was working.
Finally, Nora does some online searching and finds out about falling angels. She finds out that Patch is a fallen angel. End the end she finds out the truth about who is trying to kill her.
Over all, this wasn't a bad read. I liked it. As with all the books I read and add on here. It's totally up to you on whether you will read them or if you already have, that's fine too. Now, I'm on to my next book. Like I said before, come back often and see what my next book is.

Each book added to my blog here I have read. It takes me time to read each book as my day is busy with other things. I will be adding books every so many days as I get them done. Come back and check out what new books I've read. Well, now its time to start my next book. Enjoy a good book, because I know I do.

The Vampire Diaries # 2 by L. J. Smith

This is the third and the fourth books in the vampire diaries series and I have to tell you the I couldn't put the book down. Its 2 in 1 book. As the last book was the first and second. Where that one ended, it was when Elena was found dead pretty much from her car going into the river. Stefan tried to do what he could to save her but, to him there wasn't any chance.
As the third book, the fury starts, Stefan and Damon are fighting and to both of thier surprise they get stopped by her. But, she ends up attacking Stefan. she had become one of them, a vampire. Too the amusement of both of the guys they both thought she was dead.
Something in Fell's Church is killing people again. And it's up to Elena, Stefan and her to friends Bonnie and Meredith to figure out what it is. But, first Elena needs blood and rest. Stefan takes her back to the school and talks Matt into helping her out.
It takes them time to figure out what is really going on. And to thier surprise, Stefan and Damon end up with one huge surprise. The one person that turned them is still alive, Katherine and she wants revenge. But, to Elena that isn't going to happen. She stops Katherine but ends up dying herself.
Stefan and Damon leave Fell's church.
The fourth book, Dark return, starts with some interesting things happening. There is something evil in town still. For some reason Bonnie's powers have gotten stronger and she can sense things.
She has been dreaming of Elena and she has found out that the evil in town aren't going to be going anywhere. She needs to call Stefan back to fell's Church because she knows that he can help them.
The evil in town is taking lives one by one. And she knows that if it isn't stopped some how everyone will just be dead. When Stefan comes back he ends up coming back with his brother Damon.
I'm not willing to give away any more about what happens. But I will say that Stefan has a very hard time living his life without Elena in it. In the end of the book, you'll want to read it, its worth it. You won't want to put it down tell you find out what is really going to happen. I'll just say, pick it up if you haven't already and read it. It will surprise you, I promise you that.

The girl on Legare street by Karen White

From the beginning to the end of this book, you will want to know what is going to happen next. It is a very will written booka and the story will catch you right from page one.
Melanie Middleton is a realtor and has owned her own house since it was given to her. She decided to have a lot of work done to it so, she hired her best friend Sophie Wallen to help her out. They have known each other for a long time and Melanie thought of Sophie as her bestfriend.
Then, there is Jack Trenholm someone that she has a hard time dealing with. She doesn't realize that there's more there between them then she knows. He's working on writing a book about her and the problems she had when she came to inharrit the house she now calls her own. Jack has been in and out of her life and now there seems to be something more to his wanting to talk to her this time.
He tells her that he wants her to meet a Rebecca Edgerton. She's a reporter for one of the newspaper in town. She wants to do a story on her mother.
When it comes to Melanie's mother that she hadn't seen for over 30 years. To Melanie, she wants nothing to do with her.
Her mother is in town and the reason she came back was to tell Melanie that she's in danger of the unknown. There is a spirit in her grandmothers house that wants to harm her. Melanie's mother tells her that she's there to help her.
Things in the story move forward and it gets real interesting. You can look at the story as a ghost and mystery all rolled into one. And yes, I said ghosts. This story is will worth picking up and reading. It is also the sequal to The ouse on Tradd street. No, I haven't read it yet and I do plan on picking it up.
If you like a good ghost story and a will written book then you should read this one. Well, now I'm off to read the next book. Keep coming back and see what I read next and how I feel about the book.

Fade by Lisa McMann

This is the second book to Wake. For me here lately reading has been a good thing. The different books by different authors has been opening my eyes more to the world that I didn't even know was out there. When you read you seem to add a little bit of what you have read in the book to yourself. Whether its a love story or a suspence novel.
This book even though it was short. The charaters are fully ingrossing you into the things that they are doing. Janie and Cabel are back and thier lives become harder then they even exspected it would get. One because thier falling in love with each other, two they are working for the police. Janie has this power of being drawn into other peoples dreams and now she has to learn how to control them.
When the Captain calls both Janie and Cabel into her office to tell them about what thier asignment is going to be. At first Janie doesn't hasitate. Then, she notices Cabel's reaction. The asignment is to catch a sexual affender. And its being up to Janie to do her best to do so.
She and Cabel's relationship gets stronger and harder for him to deal with. After making love he is acting strange with her. In most part, he doesn't want her to get hurt. But, she knows that she needs to do this. She can't back out now. And when one of the teachers tell her about a party he has every years. She decids that it will be the best place for her to go. What she doesn't realize is that she is over her head and with the research about the date rape drug, she thinks that nothing will happen. But, at the party, it does.
All her preperation only turns out to be wrong. Then she knows that the drug is in the food. The three teachers at her school that are at the party. They take advantage.
This book is good to read. Worth every page. It shows that love can be hard for even teenagers as will as adults. Teachers do have a habit of taking advantage of kids sometimes and its up to us to protect them. The book shows that you will learn what could happen and how to deal with it. Yes, both Janie and Cabel would be concidered narks. But, thier doing what is right to help make things safe for everyone else.
Read this book. Open a door to another world. If not by this book but by another one. Now, I'm off to another book, tell next time. Await to see what happens. Enjoy.

Need by Carrie Jones

This new book by an author that I have never read before is quite interesting. It's another kind of supernatural novel. It's about pixies. If you have every read anything about them, they are ugly creatures and very powerful.
The main charater is Zara White a teenage girl the has lost her father from him having a heartache. When she gets sent to Maine to stay with her grandma she has know idea that the pixie king is after her tell the day she arrives. Her grandma tries to explain that she will be safe where she is. But, is she really?
One of Zara favorite things is reciting phobias. For Zara going to a new school in a new start and town can bring some headaches upon her. Then, she meets Nick Colt, a handsome young guy. As her first day goes on, she meets Issie and Devyn. She also meets another guy named Ian. He seemed nice enough.
The pixie king has been showing up where Zara can see her. With Issie's and Devyn's help they find out the truth about pixies and what they are and can do. Then, zara also finds out what Nick is. He's called a were or better called a werewolf. He gets hurt and Zara does everything she can to help him out. Then, Nick and her start to become boyfriend and girlfriend.
Zara ends up getting kidnapped by Ian, which she finds out is a pixie and wants to turn her into one. What she didn't know was that her real father is the pixie king. Her mother ends up coming to town. She had decided to protect her daughter by giving herself to the pixie king.
I'm not going to spoil the end for you though. You will need to read the book to find out what happens. This is the first book in a series. So, some time later on after I've read a few other books I'll read the next one.
This book is different then most and at first I didn't know if I would like it or not. I got so far into it I just had to know how it ended. So, pick it up, read it if you want to know the ending.
Well, now I'm off to start another book. Hope you have been enjoying reading my posts. I've now only been posting books on here every four days now. I've been busy with dealing with other things. But, I'm still reading. Enjoy a good book on me.

Your heart belongs to me by Dean Koontz

I haven't read to many of Dean Koontz books lately and decided to pick up this book to see how it was. Well, it's not to bad. Its a little slow but over all it wasn't to bad.
Ryan Perry is a wealthy guy in in love with a lady named Samantha. For him life seemed easy without any worry about about money. He finds out that he's sick but right off hand he doesn't think about how serious it is.
His fear turns into visions of some sort that are trying to tell him something. At first he thinks that someone is trying to poison him. But, later on, he finds out that he has a heart condition that he will have to have a heart transplant.
He finds a doctor on the internet and goes and talks to him. After having more tests done and waiting about a month. A heart is found. He flies to where it is and has his heart transplant.
What he doesn't know it that someone has found out everything about him. This person is leaving gifts behind and getting into his house some how. He doesn't know who it is.
By the end of the book you will find out who it is that wants Ryan dead. What becomes of him.
Well, I'm off to start another book. I hope you will read this one. Its pretty good but, not that best. Dean Koontz can be a great writer and being that he has been writing books for years now. But, you need to remember that not every book can be as good as other books.

The Girl who played with fire by Stieg Larsson

Wow, if I thought that the first book was good this was is a whole lot better. Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander are back. And hell breaks out. Salander is accused of three murders and ends up in hinding. She has to figure out what is going on.
But, before all the happens she had come into a very large sum of money. Salander is very good with computers and to her she became fasinated with math. She traveled around the world for over a year and ended up back at home finally. With the money she buys herself a new place to live. Meets up with her friend Mimmie again and starts sleeping with her for awhile.
Salander never thought that helping out her friend would cause her friend almost to lose her life. But, it did. Mikael has two friends the end up getting murdered and Salander is accused of it. Some how, deep down inside he doesn't believe that she did it. So, he does everything in his power to try and find out what really happened.
The book takes you through everything that he does to find out the truth. You find out the truth about who Salander really is. Its a great story to read and worth picking up after you have read the first one. The girl with the dragon tattoo.
Read the first book then read this one and you will want to read the third one when it comes out. I promise it's worth it.
Well, I'm off to start another book. Note to my readers, I'm taking an extra day now to post because some of the books are taking me a little longer to read. So, bare with me. Each book will be worth your time as they are worth mine.

Untamed by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast

This is the fourth book in the house of night series. I will have to say if you haven't read the others yet. You'll want to because this one as of yet is really good. It will grab you from the start and hang on to you tell you reach the last page.
Zoey Redbird is a fairly new vampyre fledgling in the house of night. She has to deal with so many things that it becomes very over whelming to her. Her friends have lost some of the trust they had in her because she couldn't tell them the truth about everything that she knew about. It takes her some time to finally get them to see why.
In the book she meets a new guy by the name of Stark. She finds out that her has a very special ability to shoot a bow and arrow and not miss the target. She barely knows him and she feels something strong inside of herself concerning Stark. But, he ends up dying. She tells him a truth about the possiblity of him coming back to life, like the red fledglings did. Zoey doesn't know what will happen concerning him.
Zoey also knows that Neferet is evil and has turned away from Nyx. But, she doesn't know how badly it will change things. Zoey calls her grandma and tells her about what's going on and invites her to come stay at the school. Zoey also meets a nun and tells her of the evil that is coming. Zoey knows that she can trust the nun. She doesn't think that she can provent what is going to end up happening.
So, I will say, this book is so good I had to finish it just to see what happens. Pick it up, I promise you'll like it. It's worth reading.
Well, I'm off to start another book. Please, keep coming back and see what I've been reading. Each book so far is very worth the read.
