Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead

I usually never do this when it comes to my reading. After reading the fifth book in this series, I had to read the last one in the Vampire academy series. Had to know what was going to happen to Rose and Dimitri.

At the end of the last book, Rose was locked up for murdering the queen. She isn't sure what's going to happen but, she knows she's didn't do it. Then, there's a huge blast outside and racket just outside her cell. Then, she sees her friends and their breaking her out of jail. She's not sure what to do, then she sees Dimitri standing at the end of the hall. He tells her to come on and she does. But she knows that she can't not help her friends prove she's not guilty. She fights off Dimitri once but, he explains that he's not going to let her just go off half cocked.

Lissa and her other friends start to do what they can to help Rose. They know that as long as she's safe they can find out the truth.

What Rose doesn't know is that Dimitri is watching her and that his feelings are coming back towards her. She had been hurt by him and doesn't want to be feeling like she had before. But she can't help it. As the days go on, things start to come in view for Rose and her friends. Rose knows that she needs to find Lissa's sitter which would give Lissa's a seat on the court. Being on the run isn't going to make it easy either.

Rose and her friends get Lissa to take the tests to become the new queen which Lissa isn't quite happy about doing but does anyways. As things get closer to finding out the truth of who killed the queen. Dimitri ends up telling Rose that he's never stopped loving her. Which shocks Rose because she had decided to move on. He said he can't take her from another guy and she knows that deep down she loves him and hasn't stopped.

I'm not going to spoil what happens. I'll just say that this book is the best book for a happy ending I've ever read. Diffenently worth 5 stars. Well, I'm off to start my next book. Enjoy a good book you never know, it might make you wish for your own happy ending.
