Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

Grace was on the tire swing when she was grabbed by wolves when she was young. She does't remember much about it. She just knows that she was scared some but never showed it to them. Sam is a werewolf. He is watching his pack bite at her and is doing nothing about it. He finally decides to stop them. After that Grace doesn't really remember what had happened.
Its summer and Sam is working in the book store in town. He sees her walk in with two of her friends and something inside of him knows or like almost wants her to see him, but she doesn't turn around.
Summer passes into fall then winter and one of the boys in school, Jack, gets attacted by the wolves. A bunch of men decide to go after the wolves and Grace feels she needs to stop it. she tells one of the guys there that a friend of hers is in the woods. She decides to do a stupid thing and runs into the woods with one of the guys chasing her. The guy tells another to radio the others to tell them to quit shooting and walks Grace to her house through the woods. Grace's car had broken down on the side of the road where all the other hunters trucks were.
At her backdoor she sees Sam and he's been shot. She tries to help him but doesn't quite know yet that he's the wolf that she's been seeing in the woods. She takes him to the hospital and then sits with him tell he wakes up. Sam doesn't know who she is and he's not sure where he is tell Grace tells him. He knows that he needs to get out of the hospital and before anyone comes and and sees how he's all healed up.
Grace brings him home with her and tells him he can stay in her room with her. Sam knows that his days are numbered tell he turns back into a wolf and he may never be able to turn back to human again. He also knows that he's been in love with Grace for a long time. What Grace doesn't know that she feels the same way. Grace and Sam spend as much time together and then grace tells him about Jack.
For Sam this is hard for him. He knows his days are numbered but he doesn't want to leave Grace. He also knows that he needs to find out where Jack is before he does something stupid. What Grace and him don't know id that Jace had bitten Olivia one of graces friends and she's been sick. To grace there has to be a cure some where out there. She doesn't want to be without him ever.
I'm not telling you how this book ends because this is just the first in this series so you know that anything could happen. The book is good and I was surprised by the ending. But, because I don't read the same author back to back. I'll just have to wait tell I do read the next one. Pick it up if you haven't read it before. If you have then you know what I mean.
Well, I'm off to start another book. Hope you come back and see what I've read and keep on reading yourself as will. Each book is a different expereince and sometimes a good book will stay with you for a long time. I hope this is one of those.

Naked in death by J.D. Robb

First in a series about murder and Sex. I'd have to say that being that I've never read any of this authors books before. This one actually got to me.
Eve Dallas in a cop in New York city in the future. She is called in to investagate a murder of a hooker. She is also the senators graddaughter, Sharon DeBlass. Which makes this care very high profile. One thing more is that she knew she was a good cop and that no matter what she was going to solve it.
Then she meets Roarke, very rich and for some reason he's paying attention to every move she makes. To him she seems like no one he's even seen before. But, for him it seemed more. Inside of him he wanted her, wanted to be with her, want her in his bed. But right now at this time it wasn't going to happen. He would have to wait.
As the days go by. Eve has been told to do her best to solve it and she knew she had it in her to do so. But, she also knew that Roarke was watching her. Something about him bothered her and she couldn't put her finger on it. Tell the night he invitess her over to his house to talk. She's full of questions. He's watching her every move like its something that he needs to breath in. Then, he can't hold back any longer. He kisses her and she respones back. Then he carries her to his bedroom and the make love all night long.
One statement he makes to her. "You will think of me." In many ways she does. Roarke is falling in love with Eve. Eve's not so sure of her feelings. Eve has Roarke help her with her case. They find out infomation that she knows she can use.
BY the end of the book everthing comes together in a very surprising ending that more then worth while to read. Being that this is the first book in this series which means I'll be reading her next one soon enough. Can't wait.
Well, its time for me to start my next book. I hope if you haven't read this book you'll pick it up. If you like romantic/suspence novels, you'll love it.

Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

This is the first book in the wicked lovely series. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Aislinn is a young teenage girl that can see faeries. Like her Gran and mother before her. She is also scared of them. She also knows that if they were to know that she could see them it would be dangerous to her. She didn't seem to feel confertable with them around but the one thing that made it better for her was when she was with Seth. What she also knew was that she was in love with Seth. But how to tell him that she wanted more then just being friends with him. She knew he liked to flirt with her but she never thought it was more.
Keenan was the summer king and had been looking for his queen for a very long time. He see's Aislinn in a store and picks her. Aislinn doesn't want nothing to do with him but she decides to spend one evening with him at a fair only not realizing that, that night was going to change her and everything she knew for the rest of her life.
Donia has been in love with Keenan since the first time they met. But, because she's not his queen she's trapped like she is tell the real queen releases her.
Beira is the winter queen and very evil. She doesn't want her son Keenan to find his queen because she knows that things will change. She tries to get Donia to help her and keep it from happening.
Well, the book is good. A little surprising to me as how good it was. I'll be interested in how the next book is when I get to it. Being that this is the first book by this author that I've read. It makes me think of wanting to know how the second one goes. But, I'll wait and so shall you.
I'm off to start my next book. Hope to see you come back and see what's added next. Remember a good book isn't far from your reach. Pick this one up if you haven't already yet. Its worth your while.

Shadowland by Alyson noel

This is the third book in the immortals series. Let me ask you this one question. What would you do if you couldn't touch the one you love so much that it hurts?
Well, this is what's going on between Ever and her boyfriend Damen. Because of Roman's trick they can never make love tell they get the antidote to the other antidote that Ever gave to Damen. Rpman is evil but just like them. He can live forever. For Ever she needs to find a way to get that antidote and in some way she has to take the bad things she's done and correct them.
Damen though has other plans. He has been searching within himself for some answers that could change everything that Ever has ever wanted.
Ever's aunt wants her to get a job and has one all planned out for her but, Ever has other plans. That's when she meets Jude and very sexy blond with green eyes. Something about him draws her to him.
Damen tells her its time for her to choose who she wants. He then says that he's going to give her some space. She doesn't like it but, has no choice.
Roman puts out a riddle to her that he's going to expect her to solve. What she doesn't know it what it will cost her in doing just that.
Well, I'm not blowing the ending. You'll have to read the book. For a love story and a little bit of suspence this book moves quite will from chapter to chapter. Very will written and not boring.
I'm off to start my next book. Enjoy your reading, I know I do.

The Morganville Vampires Vol.1 by Rachel Caine

This is a 2 in 1 book. Glass houses and The dead girls dance. This the start of a new series for me and so far its pretty good.
Claire Danvers is a 16 year old girl that has moved to Morganville to go to college. She's smart and her parents brought her there. What she didn't realize was that she was going to have problems with some of the girls at the school. They were going to kill her and she knew she couldn't stay in the dorm any more. What she did find was a house off campus.
First she met Eve, then Shane and lastly Micheal. They were all 18 years old and wasn't sure that her staying there would be a good idea. To Claire both of the guys were very cute. Her problems were only just starting. She found out that there was this book that the vampires in town were looking for. She knew that it was important to them but didn't know why.
By the end of the glass house you find out what happens to them. What happens to the book. One ghost a whole bunch of a lot of vampires and bad people, with some good, do end up with one heck of a good story. And this is only the first book in this series and the first book in this two in one book.
The dead girls dance starts right where the glass house ended and things end up getting worse not better. Shane ends up gettting taken by the town because of what his father does. His father kills a vampire even though the vampire isn't a good one. Claire needs to find some way to save him. She also realizes that she's in love with him.
Micheal makes a decision that will take him as he was to a full fledge vampire.
So much going on in the books you'll have to read them to find out what happens. I'm not going to spoil the ending. The story is will written and I like how the story goes, very fast paced.
Well, I'm off to start another book. Remember if you want to know what happens to Claire and her friends then you'll have to pick up this 2 in 1 book and read it.

Undone by Karin Slaughter

With all the twists and turns this book has in it. I was surprised that it was quite good of a read. This is the first time I've read any of this authors books and I guess there's a good chance that I'll probably pick up another.
Faith Mitchell and Will Trent are special agents. Will ended up falling into the case their on when a woman so badly hurt showed up in the ER where he had brought Faith into. He was watching the doctor work on her and paying attention to everything that was going on. His next move was to head out to the scene where it happened to find out as much information he could. But he had a secret that he didn't want anyone to know, he couldn't read. It was something he had a hard time with and Faith would help him as much as she could.
Faith had fainted and Will brought her to the hospital. What she found out was that she had diabetes and was also pregnant. She wasn't willing to tell her secret yet to anyone. She told the doctor, Sara Linton that she wanted to talk to her by herslef and had the doctor tell Will that she needed to do some more tests that he could be in the room for.
Sara had her own problems. She couldn't give over what happened to her husband. Dealing with life for her was a one day at a time, sometimes a one minute at a time thing.
Will and Faith worked the case and they had a few leads but, things weren't exactly going to will for them. Two more women had been taken and it was up to them to find them before they ended up like the other ones did.
When Will ends up going off after finding a baby almost dead. He's not sure what his job was going to be like when his boss finds out.
By the end of the book though you will find it all gets solved. To me I enjoyed the book very much. If you haven't read the book, do so.
Well, I'm off to start my next book now. Enjoy you reading I know I will.

Run for your life by James Patterson

When I picked up this book at first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I've tried other books of his and couldn't get into them. This one was a little slow at first. The chapters were short though so the book did move fairly fast.
Detective Michael bennett was a good cop. But, the shooting of the young kid he was trying to save made his life as a cop hard. It wasn't his fault that the kid was dead. He just thought he needed a break. His family was big, with his wife's death from cancer he had a lot to deal with. What he didn't know was that his life was going to become more complacated. There was someone going around killing people.
The teacher wasn't crazy. He just knew he had things to deal with and killing those people that needed to get killed was his main thing now. His brother had killed himself and in the teachers apartment. Finding him may have had brought on the whole thing or maybe the list and note might have had something to do with it.
Mike's kids were all home sick with the flu. With help from his nanny Mary he felt like everything was going to be fine. He knew that he needed to find the guy that called himself the teacher.
After some time had passed Mike had a plan to trap the teacher. What he didn't know was that the teacher had his own plans.
By the end of the book You'll know what happens. I was pleasantly shocked to have enjoyed the book. I was exspecting to not like it and I thought it would read the same way as his other books I've tried but, nope. It was actually really good. Pick it up, its a good read, fast paced. Well, I'm off to start my next book now. Tell we meet again. Read a good book.

Balefire by Cate Tiernan

This is a 4 in 1 book. A chalice of wind, A cicle of ashes, A feather of stone and A necklace of water.
A chalice of wind,
Thias Allard was living Welsford, Connecticut with her father. Then, her father died and she had to move away from everything she ever knew. Axelle was surposely a friend of her dad's and was going to take her to New Orleans. That's where she was going to be staying. Thias was very sad and felt so very alone.
Clio Martin lived in New Orleans with her grandmother. She's lived there all her life. She was a witch in training. Her grandmother Nan as Clio called her was her teacher. Clio didn't know that her life was going to change and that Thias was her twin sister.
Axelle had friends that she was hanging out with and there were others coming from other places in the country. Jules, Daedalus,Richard, Claire, Marcel, Ouida, Manon,Luc, and a few others were all getting together for some reason that Thias didn't understand.
Thias ended starting her last year of high school and that's where she met Clio. From there on she didn't think she had anyone left that was family. Things may just be different, tell she found out she was a witch. She didn't understand it and seemed a little upset about it.
What neither of them knew was that Luc had been seeing the other one tell when Clio had a party and he showed up. With things going on and maybe someone trying to kill one of them. They needed to find out the truth before anything did happen to one of them.
A circle of ashes,
Both girls were still mad at Luc. He knew deep down that he cared and loved Thias but, she didn't want anything to do with him. What they didn't know was that there was a reason that Luc went after both of them.
Daedalus had plans and he needed everyone to do thier part. He didn't trust Petra and now that she had both of the girls and the ritual was getting closer to getting here, he knew that he had to get everyone here. He had a plan.
Thias had moved in with her sister Clio and her grandmother. She seemed to feel better about things. She met Kevin and she thought he was cute but nothing like Luc. Inside her she wished she would quit thinking about him.
Clio and Thias had been trying to do magic together and everytime things went wrong. They had even caught thier house on fire. They couldn''t figure out what went wrong. They told Petra about it and she didn't understand what was going on. Then, one day Thias was out with Kevin and she did a protection spell and it worked. She then was told that water was her elimate.
A feather of stone,
Clio aand Thias still need to figure out who was trying to kill them. They needed to do another spell and they knew they couldn't do it at the house. So, they left and went some where else. What they were to find out shocked them. They also had a problem. They were being sucked into a water spout. Petra, Ouida and one other person arrived just in time to find them. Petra did a spell and saved the girls. The girls told her who it was that was trying to kill them, Richard.
Daedalus had plans but know one knew what. Besides everyone being there and the rite coming up. Clio had to figure out what to do about protecting her and Thais. Some how she had a slight thing for Richard and didn't understand what was causing it. She didn't like him and she knew he didn't care about her.
Other then that, things were changing. Whether she liked it or not.
A necklace of water,
Clio had been practicing with Daedalus for awhile now. She didn't know that his plan for her was going to cause problems that not even she would be able to stop. Thias didn't know that the lady she was with was Melita. Thias wanted revenge for her dad's death and knew what she was going to have to do.
Well, I'm not willing to give away any more of the story. If you want to know what happens to everyone, the twins, Luc, Richard and the rest, you'll have to read this book. I had a very hard time putting it down for how long the book is. But, I finished it and I feel it was worth reading.
I'm off now to start my next book. Remember that some books can get under your skin. They can grab a hold of you and make you want to finish the book tell its finished. This one did just that. A five star book for sure.

Dead as a doornail by Charlaine Harris

This is the fifth book in the Sookie Stackhouse series and to me the best one yet. When it comes to good books that keep you reading tell you can't put them down then, this one fits the bill.
Sam Merlotte was shot and he wasn't he only one. The shiftshaper in Hotshot was also shot and one other person was killed that Sookie knew of. Now she needed a big favor and the only person to go to for that favor was Erik. If only what had happened between her and him didn't happen but, there's isn't much she can to do change it. He wants to know what really happened between them but Sookie isn't willing to tell him yet. He may not believe her.
Charles Twining was the new bartender at Fangtasia. Erik said that he could spare him. So, he gathered  his stuff and came back with Sookie to Bon Temp.
Calvin is the head of the shifters. But, right now he's laying in a bed recovering from getting shot. Plus, He likes Sookie a lot. Sookie had decided to try and find out what really is going on and why all the shootings.
Then one night her house is on fire. Someone was trying to kill her. Things in the supernatural world are coming for Sookie and she knows that deep down she wishes she never got involed in the first place.
Alcide is a were and has been attracted to Sookie for awhile now. His pack are going to choose a new leader. He wants her to come and witness it.
With all this going on, you'll just have to read the book to find out what happens. Sookie being pulled in to many directions for her own good. Not knowing who to choose, if she was to choose.
Well, I'm off to start my next book. I strongly recommend this book to those that like a good story, vampires and the supernatural. Remember a good book isn't to far away. Read one.

Body of Evidence by Patricia Cornwell

Well this is a Scarpetta novel and the second one I've read so far. The book is good if you like mystery, suspence, and murder. Everything you would enjoy if you love books like that.
Kay Scarpetta is called to the scene of a murder. Beryl Madison was murdered in her home. Stabbed so many times it was over kill. Marino one of the cops was there and as always Kay wasn't surprised to see that he was his witting self. He was telling her what she would find and she knew that this case like many of the other ones she's worked on wasn't going to one easy to solve. It was job to find the reason behind the killing and to let the cops arrest the person. But, Kay was going to find out that this case was going to bring about something that could get in killed as will.
After a long night and finally getting home there were messages on her phone machine. One was from Mark James. Someone from her past and someone she didn't think she was going to ever hear from again. To her surprise there was his voice.
A day or so later he shows up at her house. Wanting to talk. What Kay doesn't know is that he has information about Beryl's murder and that he was wanting her to come to New York to meet his boss. What ends up happening is that Mark's boss wants the manuscript that Beryl was working. Which Kay tells him she hasn't got it, which she wasn't lying about.
About a week later, Carl Harper ends up beaten and dead in his driveway. Then, that night Carl's sisteer kills herself. From all that has come about Kay knows there's things going on and it looks like its up to her to figure it out. She plans a trip down to Key west to see if she can find out more information. Ends up meeting PJ, one of the guys that knew Beryl.
By the end of the book you'll know what ends up happening. Not telling. But, the book is a good read. Well, time to start my next book now. Tell we meet again. Enjoy!

Fallen by Lauren Kate

This is the first book in the fallen series. I was sure of what kind of book it was going to be like. Then, I seemed very ingrossed into it. Its not a bad book.
Luce Price had problems in her old school and was being taken to another school to live. Sword & Cross was an old school where she didn't know anyone again. To make friends in a new school for anyone is hard. To many rules and kids that seemed to hae a lot of problems. Because of what happened to Trevor she wasn't sure about boys and getting involved with them. Plus, there was something else that she was dealing with, a dark shadow that seems to follow her where ever she went.
Arriane was that first person that befreinded her. She showed Luce some of the red cam's around the school. Standing in a line waiting for the first class was a guy she had a feeling that she might have known. His name is Daniel Grigori. Something about him just made her think that she'd known him for a very long time but, didn't know how.
Cam one of the other students there started to notice her and was wanting to befriend her. Luce didn't see anything wrong about it and would have never know that he could be someone that was very dangerous. Penn, had come up to her and her and luce started hangin out more and more. Penn was willing to help her find out more about Daniel.
Luce had been wanting to get closer to Daniel but for some reason her was playing hard to get. He would be rude to her a few times and then be nice. Luce had the feeling that there was something about him that she knew. She needed to know. But, as the story goes on. Tings end up happening and her and Daniel end up kissing and he them seems unsure of things between them. But, she knows deep down that he loves her.
By the end of the book you know what's going on and you will also know that there are things that won't be said tell you read the second one.
Over all, its not a bad book. A little slow but, it was worth sticking my nose in it and keep on reading. I liked it. Well, I'm off to start my next book. If you want to know the ending, pick up the book.

Bitten by Kelley Armstrong

This is the first book in the women of the otherworld series, by an author that I like very much.
Elana Micheals is a human that's living with her boyfriend Philip. But, there is another part of her that he doesn't know. She's a werewolf. She was bitten by someone she thought she loved a long time back, Clay. What she didn't know at the time was that Clay had a reason to do what he did. He wanted a mate. Someone that he knew loved him but, he lied to Elana.
Clay, Nick, Peter, Jeremy, Logan and Antonio were all part of a pack of werewolves. They lived in Stonehaven a house outside of Bear Valley. For Elana it was a place she didn't really want to go back too. But when the pack alfa called you were surposed to come calling. Jeremy was the pack leader and Elana had no choice back to go back.
Clay and Elana didn't get along to will and would fight a lot. Clay loved Elana and in some way, she knew she needed to make the right decision. She had let her emotions and the change a few times bring her to make love to Clay. In some ways it was something else she needed to deal with.
The reason that everyone was surposed to come back was that they had mutt's in town causing trouble. It ended up with two of their pack members dead. Now, they needed to find a way to deal with the mutt's that were there and killing them off wasn't just going to do it. Other things were happening to and the human police were getting involved which was going to make the things the pack had to deal with harder.
By the end of the book things would end with death.
This is a page turner, worth reading if you haven't yet. If you like the author this book will grab you and hold you tell you get to the end of it. Read it, if I was to give it a rating it would be a 5. Its that good.
Well, I'm off to start my next book. Like I said before you never know what book I'll add to my blog here. Enjoy a good book, if not just any one, choose this one. Promise you'll enjoy the fast moving, page turning book.

In the woods by Tana French

At first this book was slow and then farther into it, it began to pick up. When you read books that seem to take you forever to get through at one time you start to think that you should put it down. I didn't.
Detective Rob Ryan and Cassie Maddox were called out on a murder of a young girl. Not something that they wished they would ever have to deal with but, it was their job. Rob Ryan wasn't his real name and the story behind who he really starts to come out as their investigation gets going. Adam Ryan is his real name and he was the only survior of his three friends on that day that they all three came up missing.
Rob had told Cassie one night when he was sleeping over at her house about him and who he was. What she didn't know was how much the case they were working on was going to effect him and his life.
Katy Devlin was the girl that got mudered and finding who did was the detectives job. What takes them down certain roads in the story are people like Katy's family and the strange things that goes on there. Then, theres the archaeolgists working the site where the girls body was found. whatever happened there, they will fine out.
Rob makes a mistake by sleeping with Cassie and then treats her like crap. He was never really good at relationships. In the long run things for Rob becomes very hard for him to deal with.
Over all the book is good to read. Yes, its a little slow. But, once you get towards the end and things start to come together, you need to finish the book to see what happens.
Well, I'm off to start my next book. Pick up a book that you haven't read yet. Maybe, it will surprise you.

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick

This is the sequel to hush, hush. If you haven't read the first one then you better get cracking. Because once you finish it you will want to read the next one. Its good.
Nora Grey is safe and happy right now with Patch. Then, certain things start to happen to her and because of it she starts to realize that her and Patch aren't good for each other. Because he is her Guardian angel she ends up telling him that she don't want him to be it any more. Over all, she pretty much breaks up with him.
What Nora starts to suspect that she's in danger and the suspects Patch as the one that's doing it.
Almost everything that Nora does ends up with Patch being there. But, she also has to deal with Marcie, one person she can't stand with a pashion. Nora starts doing some snooping and ends up in even more trouble then she realizes.
Then, one night her mom invites a friend and her son, Scott over and certain things end up happening. She starts suspecting Scott of things and needs to find out the truth. But, it doesn't turn out to be quite what she seems.
By the end of the book, you get the answers to what's going on and an idea that there could be another book to this one.
Read the book, its worth picking up. Remember to read hush, hush first. Well, I'm off to start my next book now. Keep coming back to see what I've read next. A good book is hard to put down. Just makes you read it faster to know the ending. Seems to happen to me quite often. Enjoy a good book on me.

Remember me by Christopher Pike

This is a three in one book. It has Remember me, The return and the last story, in it. Being that this is the first time I've read anything by this author was quite interested int he whole book.
Remember me- Shari Cooper was close to graduation and was heading over to a party with friends. Jo was one of them, Her boyfriend Daniel was another. Amanda was Shari's house keepers daughter and she invited herself to the party. Amanda at one time was seeing JImmy which is Shari's brother.
After arriving at Beth's house, which was who the party was for. Some things started to happen and Shari started to have a problem. But what she didn't know was that it was going to be her last night to be alive. She had gone out onto the balcony and was looking at the cities lights when she fell off and landed on her head. She pretty much was dead. But, something was different, she didn't know she was dead. It took her awhile to realize that.
Something inside of Shari told her that she was murdered and that she needed to find out who it was that did it. She met Peter who had died before her some years earlier and with him they set out to find out who killed her.
The Return- Jean Rodrigues is the same age Shari was. Jean also lived in another part of town that was rougher. She had a boyfriend Lenny that she didn't know whether she loved him or not. She was doing a certain drug and living a life that was different then what she really wanted. But, she didn't know it right off hand. She also didn't know that, that night she was going to almost die.
Shari and Peter were ghosts or whatever you wanted to call them. Shari had been talking to Rishi a guide or master. To her he was telling her things that right off the bat she didn't know if she understood.
She did know that she loved Peter and that she wanted to be with him. Shari was also told that she could return and take a body of this Jean for awhile. That she would do good things. It didn't accure to her that she would end up almost dying.
The Last story- Both Shari and Peter were back. Peter was in a wheelchair and could only do so much, but he loved Shari and Shari loved him. Because she had been writing she had become some what famous for it. She had plenty of money and there were some people that were wanting to make her books into movies. She didn't think much at first about it. She was also having really bad headaches.
She finally made a deal with one guy she met named Henry. He was going to make her one book First to die into a movie. They were picking people to act in the movie when a really cute guy came, his name was Roger. Something about him made Shari seem to lose herself. In the process she almost lost Peter.
This whole three in one book is actually really a good read. Makes you guess to what's going to happen next. Being that I don't give out endings to books. You'll just have to read the book to see what happens in the end. Its worthy of reading.
Well, I'm off to start another book. Keep coming back you never know a book could just catch your eye. Enjoy.

Tempted by P. C. Cast and Kristen Cast

This the sixth book in the house of night series and if by now you haven't read any of these books. I'll just tell you that you need to start reading these book. This book was awesome, very, very good.
Zoey Redbird and her friends had pretty much gotten rid of Kalona and Neferet by using the powers they has. Zoey is concidered the new high preistess of the house of night. Her friends and boyfriends, Eric and Hearth are all still staying with the nuns. Her grandma is still trying to recovering from what the raven mockers had done to her car.
Stevie Rae, Zoey's bestfriend and one of the red vampyres was making the rounds outside looking for any signs of any more raven mockers and ended up finding one still alive. She saw lots of blood and was being real careful in aproaching him. Looking at it, she could hear him say, kill me. Something inside of Stevie Rae told her that she couldn't do that. So, she dragged him into a shed and told him she would be back.
Zoey and all her friends have made the decision to go back to the house of night. They didn't know what the school looked like or what happened there after they left. But, they would exspect anything. Stark had made a promise to protect Zoey in a warriors oath. Even though she knew there was something more there between them.
Once back at the house of night. Things weren't back to normal. They could see a fire and that concerned them. But, to find out, the fire was for Dragons wife who was killed in fighting the raven mockers. It was very sad and Zoey and the rest of her friends had to do what they could to help everyone out.
But, Zoey was still having Kalona coming to her in her dreams. She had the feeling that he was lying to her and because of some stupid bond between her past and his, Zoey didn't know what to believe. Over all, as time went and things started to come together the idea of stopping Kalona and Neferet. So with help from one of the Vampyres at the school all of them were heading on a plane ride to Venice to meet with the High council of vampyres.
Well, I'm not blowing the end of the book. So, you'll just have to pick it up and read it. And now I'm off to start another book.

The house on Tradd Street by Karen White

This is the book before The girl on lrgare street. And being that I read this book after that one. Too me, it doesn't matter to much.
Melanie Middleton is a realtor of old houses. She helps people find good homes that have some past to them. One morning she had set up an appointment with a gentleman about selling his house. Nevin Vanderhorst is an older guy and when she arrives at the house they sit down to talk over tea.
Mr. Vanderhorst has asked her a very strange question. He asked if she could see her and all Melanie could say was yes. What she didn't know tell later that Mr. Vanderhorst had left his house to her. But, also left a letter asking her to finish finding out what happened to his mother.
What Melanie didn't know was that the house that was given her was haunted and there was some kind of evil there. In the process of getting the house, she meets Jack Trenholm a very sexy looking guy that seems to get under her nerves. He asks her to let him help solve the mystery surrounding Mr. Vanderhorst's mothers disappearence. After some thinking she says yes.
Then, Melanie meets Marc Longo another very handsome and sexy guy. But, what she doesn't know is that he's after something.
As you continue to read the book you will find out the answers to all the questions it brings up. You'll want to keep reading the book tell you get to the end. The book will grab you inside it and you'll keep turning one page after another tell you reach the end. It's a great book.
I didn't think this book was as good as the second one, but its still worth reading.
Well, now I'm off to start another book.

The girl who kicked a hornet's nest by Stieg Larsson

Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist are back in the last book of this authors series. When I finished the last one I thought that Lisbeth was going to end up dead. But, to my surprise she was still breathing. She was transported to the hospital and was met by a doctor by the name of Jonasson. He knew her by name and face and at first didn't even know if he could do anything at all to save this young girl he was looking at laying there.
Not to long after she was in surgery her father Zalachenko had arrived at the hospital as will. The doctors worked on him and put him in a room that was three doors down from Lisbeth's. She hadn't known that he was there for some time. She had been having such pain and headaches from being shot in the head.
Jonasson would make a few trips down to see Lisbeth. What convertion that went on was pretty much one sided. Mikeal had been working on trying to help her out. There was things that he needed to know from her and he needed to figure out a way to get in touch with her. So, I made a deal with the doctor to give Lisbeth a palm pilot. When Jonasson brought it into her she was surpriced by it. She knew that she had things to do before they would come to get her and take her to prison.
Mikael's sister Giannini was going to repersent Lisbeth in court. Lisbeth didn't trust to many people and she knew that she was in for a fight.
The group called The Section, has been trying to everything to stop things from moving in the wrong direction. Mikael tried to do what he could to make their lives hell.
By the end of the book you will be very surprised on how it ends. It will bring a smile to your face, bet me. I'm still not going to give it up though. Go pick up the book and read it. You'll be happy you did.
Well I'm off to start my next book now. Keep on coming back and reading me. Like I said, you never know what the next book will be.

Malice by Lisa Jackson

One thing I can say about this book is that its a great read. The author grabs you from the beginning and holds you in it tell you reach the end.
Rick Bentz is back as will as Olivia. They are married now. He had gotten hurt and has been out of work for awhile. Something has been bothering him for awhile. He had woke up from a coma and the first thing he sees is his ex-wife standing there. He does realize that its just the start of what could become the worst nightmare of his life.
New Orleans was his home now with his new wife. But, something or someone was haunting him. He needed to deal with it. He loved Olivia but some how his ex-wives ghost was haunting him real badly. Besides seeing her at the hospital and now in his back yard.
Because of this he seemed to be feeling like he needed to take a trip to Los Angeles. So he tells Olivia that he's taking a trip. She had known if he didn't do this he wouldn't be the same. So, he leaves to catch a plane.
Once in Los Angeles he finds a cheap motel and starts to work. Things start to happen and he starts seeing his ex-wife more. Investigating more by going and seeing some of his ex-wives friends and family. Asking questions about her only brings him some pain. Then, a murder happens. One of his ex-wives friends ends up dead and Bentz is the prime subspect.
As you get farther into the story, Olivia decides she's had enough of waiting at home and ends up taking a trip to see Bentz.
Well, I'm not going to spoil the ending. You'll have to read the book to see what happens. You will be surprized by the ending. Its really good. Now, I'm off to start my next book. Tell we meet agian. Read, read and read some more.

Dead to the world by Charlaine Harris

This is the fourth book in the Sookie Stockhouse series.
Sookie's on her way from home when she see's someone running along the side of the street. She decides to help and pulls over, gets out and right off hand she notices it's Eric. But, there's something different about him. Besides him being only in pants, he seems to not know who she is. She finally talks him into her car and isn't sure what's going throught his mind. After getting home she calls Pam the one person that might know what's going on with him.
Later on, she shows up with one othe vampire from the club. She explains what happened and that Eric has some kind of curse on him. It was going to take time find those that did it and that it wouldn't be a bad idea if Erik stayed here with me to hide out.
For Sookie this wasn't something she wanted to deal with again. It was possible for her to get hurt again and she really wasn't going to want to do it. But, because she was going to get paid to do so. She did.
As a few days passed and her and erik alone in the her house. She hadn't exspected the what was going to happen to her was going to happen. They ended up sleeping together. Not just once but many times. Even though she is human and him a vampire it just made things hard on her.
Sookie's brother Jason had disappeared. It was weighing on her. There was also another problem. the were's and shape shifter were getting together with some of the vampires and witches that were good to fight for what was theirs. It was going to become a war.
If you've been keeping up with your reading of my blog, you would know that I seem to read a lot of series. I like this one because there is always more going on in the book then I expect while I'm reading it. Read the book to find out how it ends. If you've read the series before then you know what I'm talking about. It's a good book.
Well, I'm now off to start another book. Always remember to read a good book I know I do.

impossible by Nancy Werlin

Lucy Scarborough didn't think she was any different then other teenage girls, tell she had met her mother Miranda. From her foster parents Soledad and Leo Markowitzes she was told that her mother was crazy. She never knew why tell one day when she come home to tell her mom and dad the she was going to the prom.
She was very happy about it. She was also very happy that her long time friend Zack was coming to stay with her and her family. It was going to be a good time. But, what Lucy didn't know was that someone was starting to watch her from a distance. Then, the night of the prom he showed up. Padraig Seeley was his name and to Lucy he was one of the most good looking men she's ever seen. There was also something that bothered her about him and Zack felt the same way.
Gray Spencer was the guy that was taking Lucy to the prom but, something was going to happen that Lucy seemed very shocked by. By the time the prom ended and everyone had left. Gray talked her into going back inside with him. He raped her. She was shocked by this and something he saw in his eyes told her that this wasn't Gray but only his body that did what he did to her.
After a week or so after the prom Lucy was brought her mothers diary. She didn't know that Mirande had written a diary. After spending most of the day reading it by herself. She learned that there was a curse on her family. She knew that there had to be a way to get rid of it. Partly now that she knew she was pregnant. She knew that she just had a short time to do the three tasks that needed to be done, before she had the baby and go crazy like her mother.
Zack was willing to help and stay tell it was done. While they were working on the first task. Zack told Lucy that he was in love with her and then asked her to marry her. Lucy said yes. He also promise her that he will take care of the baby just in case things didn't work out with getting rid of the curse.
Over all, this was an interesting book. The ending was suprising and its will worth reading. If you want to know what happens to Lucy, Zack and the baby pick up the book.
Well, I'm off to start another book. Enjoy the book.

The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong

This is the last in the darkest powers series. Chloe Saunders has excaped for now from the group of people that were trying to kill her and her friends. Derek always seemed to get mad at Chloe but he worried about her. What she didn't know was that she cared about him and wasn't sure what he felt for her. Being that Derek was a werewolf things could become very difficult for them both.
Simon and Derek's father had trusted the guy that brought them to this house. They ment a few other people as will. Not thinking that they were trapped and needed to figure out a way to get away. They let thier guard down for only a short period of time tell they ended up with proof that things weren't as safe as they thought.
Tori ended up surprising Chloe with how computer smart she was. The things she found out proved that things weren't what at first they thought. In the end they needed to leave but, how, was going to take time.
In the end they had a few problems that was going to turn out as difficult. They had a fight on thier hands and they didn't have much of a choice.
By the end of this book you'll think, why can't there be another one afterwards. It's a good series and this book caught me right off without any problems what so ever. I read and read tell I just had to finish it. If you haven't read the series yet, read it. Its will worth spending dome money on a good book.
Well, I'm off to start my next book. Tell I write again. Keep reading and try one of the ones I've added on here.

Postmortem by Patricia Cornwell

First of all this is an older book and the first one in a series of books that Patricia Cornwell has written. If you haven't read any of her books yet, this one will grab you and you'll want to read it tell you finish it.
Kay Scarpetta is the Medical examiner of Richmond, Virginia. She's took over after the other one died. Early one morning she's called to a murder of a woman. So far, there had been three others and this case was starting to get to her. She and the cops had no leads and the public was getting worried. Marino the cop in charge was starting to act like he knew who was doing the killings as Kay walked into the house to take a look at the body.
Abby Turnbull is a news reporter and has been writting about the murders for the last month or so. Kay didn't really know her that will and Abby can turn into a pest if Kay didn't watch what she was doing.
Lucy is Kay's niece and has been staying with Kay for awhile. Being that Lucy's mom seems to think that her daughter is not someone she spends much time with.
Amburgey is the police commisioner and is watching Kay. Things start to happen around Kay's office and she knows that if she makes to many mistakes she could lose her job. She can't find out who the killer is because of the things going on. As time passes, Marino starts taking her to the scenes of the crime after the crimes.
Things start to add up and they, Kay, Abby and another guy that kay works with end up coming up with a great idea to catch the killer.
Well, I'm not giving away the ending. If you want to know what happens, read the book. It's worth it if you haven't. Now I'm off to start reading my next book. Remember to keep coming back to see what other books I've read and what others I'll add to my blog here. I hope you at least have gone out and picked up at least one of the books listed on here to read for yourself. Books are a great way to escape what's going on in this busy world of ours. Enjoy reading a good book, because I did.
I'm off to start another book.

Thr3e by Ted Dekker

Wow, If I was to give this book a rating. It would be off the chart. This book isn't like anything I've ever read. It's good and will hold you in it, tell you finish it.
Kevin Parson is a guy with problems. Grew up in a house where his aunt was someone that created a world of her own and for everyone else in the house. She didn't want Kevin to know what the real world was like.
Things for Kevin take an interesting twist. He gets a call that theres a bomb in his car. To save himself he gets somewhere where it wouldn't do any damage at all. After that, he is taken for a ride. He is told riddles that he has to complete before another bomb is set off.
Kevin calls his childhood sweetheart Sam and tells her what's going on. She tells him that she'll be right there and she will help him.
A FBI agent comes into the picture. Her name is Jennifer. Over the course through the book, Jennifer starts to care for Kevin.
The bad guy is Slater. Surposely he's been waiting just for the right time to hurt both Kevin and Sam. Slater sets up everything and in the end he brings Kevin to his knees. Weakening him and until Kevin deside that he wants to kill Slater.
The ending to this book is something the will surprise you. I will tell you to read this book, because its that good. I don't give out endings to the books that I've read. I want you to read the book so that you will find out how it ends on your own.
