Fragile by Lisa Unger

Another new author to add to my list of books read. This book was quite good. Murder, mystery, kidnapping, rape, all the things a good story should be.
Jones Cooper, cop, father and husband, lives in the hollow's where people are really close. Small town life has never been more different to some then the big city was to him. But Jones was keeping something secret.A girl died and he was there. But there was also two others. The whole thing has made jones have problems in his own life.
Rick is Jones son and has been in love with Charlene a girl that Jones never thought was good enough for his son. Then, one day she ran away from home and everything from there on went to hell. Maggie is Rick's mother and a therpist and has been trying to understand her son as will. Too many things about her son she hasn't really been able to figure out.
Maggie has been seeing Marshall and trying to help him. But that day while he was there, something had changed. Because of Marshall's father Travis, things with him was very strange. He left her office and from then on things with him went down hill. Her wanting to help other out just made her sad.
With Charlene missing and Rick upset. Jones was always busy with police business. She began to worry more and more about Marshall. What she doesn't know is that Marshall is the reason why Charlene is missing. She had gotten ahold of him to ask him to help her. What she didn't know was that things for her were going to become really bad.
The farther into the story you find out many things that happen and why Jones is having problems. The truth of everything comes out. Maggie is a big part of the reason that it does. You'll just have to read the book. You'd enjoy it. Its worth it.
Well, I'm off to start my next book. Pick up a good book and enjoy it. This one I'd say is a good book.

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

This is the first book in a new series. It has surprised me, drawn me in and held me to every page as I read it.
Ethan Wate is a boy in the small town of Gatlin. He has always thought about getting out. Going some where other then the place where he's lived his short life so far. But something else was going on, he was having dreams about a girl and he kept trying to hang onto her but, she kept slipping away.
Lena Duchannes is a 15 year old girl that came to live with her uncle. She was wanting a life that was normal but she knew she wasn't normal. She was a caster and a very special one. She was alos the girl that was having the same dreams that Ethan was. What neither one of them new, was that they were connected. What she also didn't know was that she was going to fall in love with Ethan and things in their life was going to get difficult.
Macon is Lena's uncle and in her family people were always looked at as different and judged by other in the town. Macon was there to protect Lena from herself and others that could hurt her. What he didn't realize was that Ethan's and Lena's relationship was going to change things that was to come.
Many times certain people in Lena's family tried to do things to hurt her. Many times Lena was scared she would become a dark caster like some of her family had become. By the end of this book you will find out what really happens. It will draw you in and hold your interest. Read the book, becuase I'm not telling you the ending. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. But not yet.
Well, I'm off to start my next book now. Remember to enjoy a good book like this one.
