Ever and Damon are in love and keep seem to keep thier hands off each other. But, as time goes on, A guy by the name of Roman shows up. He wants to kill Damon. But, because it take so long for Ever to realize what is going on.
Damon starts to change because of what's going on with him. Things around Ever becomes very hard for her t deal with. Tell she figures out that Roman is behind it. She doesn't know why he's doing what he's doing and she needs to find a way to save him.
But, she ends up thinking only of herself and things end up only getting worse. Roman wants her but she wants nothing to do with him. After some time Ever finds out that she may be able to go back to her old life which is what she wants more then anything.
In the end, she finds out that she can't. She learns what it will take to save Damon. But, Roman tricks her and her and Damon will never be the same after that. Roman wants to hurt someone because he lost the one he loved. And from the looks of it, its exactly what ends up happening. Because Ever doesn't listen and jumps before thinking. She and Damon may never be able to be together.
This is a great book to read. It's worth it. In some ways it makes me want to read the next one. But, its not time for that. So, now I'm off to the next book I'm going to read.
