 Elena Gilbert was in high school and her two good friends were Meredith and Bonnie. She had a boyfriend named Matt but she decided to break up with him. She just wanted to stay friends wit him, nothing else. Caroline used to be her best friend tell something between them ended up changing.
    Then this very handsome dark hair new guy shows up as a new student. His name is Stefan Salvatore. When he sees Elena he sees someone from his past. As time goes by, he realizes that they look alike but thats about it. He has a secret that he can't tell anyone, he's a vampire. Inside Elena, she wants Stefan in more ways then even she or him know. But, is she able to deal with the truth that Stefan is a vampire.
    Damon Salvator is Stefan's brother and very evil. Damon wants Elena for himself. But, he's also a killer. Damon and Stefan are nothing alik and when Damon teies to kill his brother it takes Elena and her riends to find him. That's when she knows that he's a vampire. She decides to let him drnk from her. Even know he didn't want to d that.
    Things happen in the books. Its a two in one book. Its nothing like the series on t.v. to me the book is better and it tells it a little bet differently. Read the book. See what you think. Pick up the book and read it. You never know you might like it and want to read more.
